Irresoluteoscillating

Irresoluteoscillating

Irresoluteoscillating (meaning wavering or hesitation) is a playful intervention using mirrors, projections and soundscape to transform the interior of a bathing machine into a strange environment for an unlikely swimmer, who is hesitating to take the plunge into the sea.

Megan Broadmeadow’s practice re-examines the position and relevance of folklore and cultural traditions in today’s society. The resulting fabricated new mythologies are a hybridisation of theatre, carnival and nightclub cultures and take the form of installations featuring video, sculpture and performance.

Megan graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Art in 2002. She graduated from Goldsmiths in 2014 in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, London, was selected for MAStars 2014 and recently selected as the Mark Tanner Sculpture award winner for 2015/16. Megan hails from Conwy so LLAWN03 is the ideal context to bring her home.
