Megan Broadmeadow is an artist who produces installations that combine video projection, sculpture, illusions and soundscapes. In her most recent work she has been exploring the possibilities of video installation using split-screen videos, projection mapped objects and environments and utilising moving head projectors.
She has created immersive installations over a number of years and across many different kinds of locations; ranging from traditional gallery spaces to offsite locations such as nature reserves, town centers and even underwater!
Her recent exhibitions have included: Astro Raggi (solo show) Plymouth Arts Centre, A Corruption of Mass (solo show after being given Mark Tanner Sculpture Award) Standpoint Gallery and Cardiff Contemporary 2016. In 2018 she will begin and ambitious solo work which will start at CPG Gallery London and tour across the UK.
For LLAWN she will work with Helfa Gelf Artists to create an installation utilising drawing and light in an empty building in John St, Llandudno.
Drawing Light will be open on Saturday 16th from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
