Since its inception in 1989, the MOSTYN Open has called out to artists, of any age and residing place, to enter work, with the selection made by a judging panel and presented at MOSTYN in an exhibition. The 20th edition of the open beings together works by artists from Belgium, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, China, Australia, USA and UK.

The winner of the £10,000 MOSTYN Open 20 prize has been announced. It’s Gernot Wieland’s ‘accomplished and complex’ video work, ”Thievery and Songs’, 2016.
In addition, The Audience Award – with a prize of £1,000 – will be awarded to the artist who receives the most votes from the visiting public during the exhibition’s run. So come in and vote for your favourite.
