Roy Barry

Abstract photographer Roy Barry has spent hours,weeks, even months filming and recording Llandudno bay in a wide range of media including drones, lenses, infra-red and specialised microphones. For LLAWN he is to create his first installation using moving image, audio and a gentle breeze.

Roy Barry’s work is an abstract examination of the natural world around him -Land and Seascape photographs give impressions of colour and texture found in everyday objects. His series of short films, explore the movement and power of nature and the sounds that we may not ordinarily hear.

Roy Barry is currently a student on the MA course at Glyndwr University Wrexham and is exhibiting as part of LLAWN’s  programme of student exhibitions which is built on a new partnership with the institution.
