This year we bring you Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a free cinema experience on the prom using TAPE’s massive inflatable screen, for one night only at LLAWN. Set in the Harry Potter universe, Fantastic Beasts takes place in the wizarding world of 1920’s New York with author Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arriving to conduct a study of fantastic beasts only to get caught up in conflict when some of the beasts in his care are accidentally released. A must see for fans of the Harry Potter franchise whilst also being a stand alone story that can be enjoyed by muggles without an in depth knowledge of Potter lore.

Please bring warm clothes and blankets (it is, after all, mid September in North Wales). We will have refreshments available to purchase on the night to warm you too. The film is rated 12, so only suitable for viewers 12 and over. There will be deckchairs laid out and are available on a first come first served basis so you are advised to make it down in good time for what will be a popular event.

If the weather happens to be against us then the screening will still go ahead in the Tabernacle, Mostyn Street. Entry will be free but limited, and on a first-come, first-served basis. In the situation that we do have bad weather, a decision will be made on the Saturday afternoon at 12pm.

TAPE seek to maximize opportunities for people through creative arts and media. The charity offers safe and inclusive creative opportunities for everyone. For more details please contact: info@tapemusicandfilm. or 01492 512 109

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will start at 8pm prompt. There will be a programme of short films and singing beforehand if you’d like to grab a deckchair early.
